... gave the example above of the typical
mindset for people entering into network marketing?

They say:

"Man ... IF I max out this plan I'll be making $40,000 a
month and I'll never have to work again! Let's give it ...

Network marketing is not easy. I will not lie. But, in
saying that there is a little known way to absolutely ensure
your success.

This secret is seldom used yet for those that do hold true
to the principle that I am about to outline you simple
cannot fail. That’s right your success is 100% gu’aranteed.

Before we get to the secret let’s do a little ground work to
set the stage for HUGE and quick success in network
marketing.

The level of success and freedom in life that network
marketing offers to the average person is unlimited and
that’s the appeal, but there are some ways to help ensure
that success occurs for you as quickly as possible.

Most people jump into a new home bus’iness on a hope and
dream.

They look at the compensation plan and the testimonials
involved with the network marketing company that they are
about to join and see the vision.

They say “Man … IF I max out this plan I’ll be making
$40,000 a month and I’ll never have to work again! Let’s
give it try!”

They fill themselves up with anticipation for the windfall
of cash that is on the way and they sit back and wait for
the money to come to them.

Then a month later after they go through a few trails and
try a few things unsuccessfully they say . . . “Why isn’t
this working?”

Then the next month when they put in half the effort they
put in their first month and nothing happens again they quit
and say they were scammed.

My question to you is . . . were they scammed?

You see, before you start any Network Marketing business you
have to do a little bit more homework than just look at the
compensation plan and the testimonials. You have to really
research what you are about to get yourself into.

What type of research do you have to do? What questions
should you ask?

Here they are:

” How long has the company been around?

” What is the product?

” Is the product unique?

” Does the product have mass appeal?

” Is the product a front runner in an emerging market?

” Can you become passionate about the product?

” Does the business have a powerful marketing system in
place?

” Who are the successful people in this business?

” What are the successful people doing to create that
success?

” Is the product something that the majority of the public
can afford?

” Am I personally financial stable enough to start a new
business?

” What type of a monthly marketing budget will I have to set
aside to be successful?

” What are the conversion statistics for the marketing
process?

” Is the business truly duplicable?

” What would be my break even point?

” Is there a way to make money quickly with this business or
is there a way that I can create a quick income in
marketing
this business?

” Etc.

You see it’s not just the opportunity that has to be
correct. You TOO have to be correct for the opportunity and
you have to be in a financial position to take advantage of
the opportunity at hand.

Way too many times I see people joining my business that
jump in on a hope and a dream.

They have barely enough money to pay for there monthly
membership commitment and yet they still want to know the
fastest way to grow their business for FREE.

When people get caught up in the emotion of opening the
possibility for more in their life sometimes they don’t
think clearly. They think if they can just get themselves in
they will get rich.

It’s not just about getting yourself in.

It’s about getting yourself in and putting yourself in a
position to be able to fully maximize the opportunity at
hand.

I get asked the following WRONG question all the time.

“How long until I make money?”

It’s not about how long until you make money it’s about what
you have to do to make money.

The truth is you could put yourself in a profitable
situation tomorrow or today, but it would take resources and
a good deal of learning to know how to do it.

The truth is, the fast way is never the FREE way. It’s
either going to take you a good deal of money to put
yourself in a profitable position or a good deal of
education and leverage, and most of the time both.

There is no luck factor.

You don’t earn money until you are worth of the income you
produce. As the great Earl Nightingale always says “You have
to be worth more than you are getting paid for you’r inc0me
to grow.”

This is the natural state of all things and it’s not going
to change. In order for your inc0me to grow you must grow.

Now . . .

Let me back up for a second to say that you CAN create a
large amount of success in Network Marketing for fr’ee, but
not until you know how.

If you don’t have the answer to this question of how to
create a large amount of success for free now and it is a
burning desire for you learn how to do this, then get out
there and do the necessary leg work and research to get
yourself into to the position in which you can grow your
network marketing organization for FR’EE.

Enough of this banter . . .

If you want to have HUGE success in Network Marketing
quickly you will need to of course obtain or create a
powerful marketing system that is highly duplicable. If you
want do this on the internet here are the critical factors
that you should look for in the least:

” A high power lead capture page

” A strong follow up email system that incorporates the fear
of loss.

” A direct marketing style website that sells so you don’t
have to.

Let’s talk about the secret that will absolutely guarantee
that you succeed in Network Marketing.

Ready?

Well remember when I gave the example above of the typical
mindset for people entering into network marketing?

They say:

“Man … IF I max out this plan I’ll be making $40,000 a
month and I’ll never have to work again! Let’s give it try!”

All we have to do is change one word in this statement to
give you the little know secret to guaranteeing you network
marketing success.

Change the word “IF” to “WHEN”

Don’t make it a possibility to succeed in network marketing
make it a conviction.

It’s the people that see the compensation plan and do all
the research that I’ve noted above and then say to
themselves that it’s only a matter of time until they max
out their compensation plan that truly and always without a
shadow of a doubt succeed.

Network marketing is not something that works part of the
time or if your lucky. It always works as long as you do
everything in your power to make it work.

Set a goal in your network marketing business and don’t stop
until you get there and you WILL get there. I guarantee it.

The primary focus of any business organization is towards earning profit. Apart from buying and selling of the product or service the inventory cost is one of the major factors that contribute towards the calculation of the profit and loss of an organization. The cost of buying the raw materials is very important to control because they tend to increase the investment made also hinders the path of profit earned. Thus keeping a check on the expenditure and also to get the necessary amount of the raw material required is the call of the day. Business gas and electricity are two major raw materials contributing towards any of the production houses. They have been identified as two major components for any organization where any kind of goods is being produced. Business gas or Commercial Gas comes with a heavy price because they are being produced from the costliest minerals available. It is therefore very important to manage these raw materials. The primary step towards the management of the commercial gas and electricity is to find the service provider who gives it in the cheapest available price. There is also a continuous risk of the increment of the price of these materials.
The requirement of the supplements
The Commercial Electricity generally comes with a heavy price because of the production cost. The production of the energy products depends upon the availability of the minerals. The availability of the minerals is subjected to the climatic behavior. The commercial electricity is also very difficult to acquire because of the very few suppliers in the market. Thus negotiating on the price of the supply is also very difficult to do. It is therefore necessary to keep a back up for the energy supply required for the production of any product. These forms of the energy supply can be regarded as a supplement to the main energy related products. There are several forms of energy that can be regarded as a supplement to this main source of the energy. However these supplements can not always be depended upon. They must be used to bail out in the crisis situation.
Some of the supplements
There are several supplements to the commercial electricity. One of the prominent supplements among these is the solar energy. In this method the solar energy is being trapped and then being converted into electrical energy which helps in the manufacturing and production.

The term “professional” means something different to just about everybody and everything. A “professional athlete” is classified as someone who plays a sport and is paid for it as opposed to those who play for recreation. A “sales professional” is someone employed in the business of selling and is seemingly at the top of their game. A doctor is considered to be a “professional”, and so is a lawyer. Professional audio/video equipment is considered to be of a higher quality than traditional consumer grades, even though the term “higher quality” is never mentioned. The biggest myth regarding professional audio/video equipment is that it’s not affordable to the average shopper. This couldn’t be further from the truth. <br />

If you’re into recording audio, professional audio equipment will alleviate the annoying “hiss” that’s sure to come through and make any tape or disc next to useless for any public play. When watching a personally recorded video, you’ll notice a dramatic difference in both picture quality and clarity. And the price difference between the consumer and professional grades is not even close to what you’re thinking. In fact, you’re sure to be pleasantly surprised.

The majority of professional audio/video equipment can be easily transported, whereas consumer grade mobility might be a bit more difficult. Speakers and other large, heavy items will either have handles on the sides or will have lock-box cases with heavy-duty handles to make the carrying process a whole lot easier. Professional grade speakers aren’t just easier to move around, but they’re more durable and have a great reputation for lasting for quite a while (otherwise, the manufacturer wouldn’t have their brand name plastered across the front for everyone to see.) Manufacturer warranties usually cover more aspects of the equipment and/or for a longer period of time. Extended warranties are also available, typically for longer periods of time with professional audio/video equipment.

Don’t forget about the details that make the professionals of the audio/video trade stand out amongst the amateurs, like mirror balls and bubble machines. Strobe lights are also regaining the “spotlight” for traveling disc jockeys and other members of the business, as well as many other effects reminiscent of the “days of disco”. Even if you aren’t a pro, you can create the feeling that you are by crafting an area of your home to display your gear.

When you’re purchasing your pro audio/video equipmentt, be sure to not skimp on the small stuff, like the cables and power cords, as they do make a huge difference.

It seems that the great remnant of the cold war is a perpetual motion machine. Only President Carter, our humaniterian president, attempted to alter decades of failed policy. Florida has become Havana north with a significant portion of its residents dictating policy in a pivotal swing state. Remember hanging chads? We build fences across the southern tier of states but welcome any strong swimmer into the bosom of our nation. No matter their background nor whether they had spent the last few years in an Al-Quaida training center. If you can splash ashore; you’re home. Deport the “Rio Grande Waders” but not our Caribbean boat people. Their vote might be critical.

Terror threat aside, from non documented entries, there is an tremendous financial impact upon the national business community. There is not a total embargo but few exchanges are allowed and even home visits have been severly restricted by the Bush administration. The travel industry is therefor impacted. The island still features 1950 and 60’s cars that can’t even get spare parts. GM has just taken a huge writedown and certainly would have rather reported Cuban sales to its shareholders. Pep Boys would like to slip a toe into the mix as well. The full range of the automotive industry and its aftermarket is therefor impacted. The fact is that our, politically driven, failed policy touches almost every aspect of our economy from kitchen faucets to Caterpillar heavy equipment. Over the period of the embargo, we have plowed crops under to maintain artificial price levels when selling to Cuba would have maintained prices (Supply and Demand) and simultaneously raised the income level of our struggling farmers.

The final aspect of our misguided policy is the impact upon our global image. The mightiest nation on earth cannot alter the course of a tiny island despite invasion; attempted

assasination and embargos. We deal with Vietnam after losing 500,000 of our finest at the hands of that government. We court Russia as an ally and encourage American companies to set up shop in China so we can subsidize their growth into a world powerhouse. We have no qualms about dealing with dictators (Yes even Saddam Hussein was our ally against Iran) until they conflict with our next agenda. Even as we shift policies and allegiances around the world, we have become inept at dealing with our closest, non common border, neighbor. It is time to treat Cuba, at a minimum, as a major consumer of our merchandise at more appropriately as a partner in a hemisphere where we still have a measure of respect.

Have some used heavy construction equipment on your lot that’s just sitting there and taking up space? Maybe you bought a crane, a heavy loader, or a heavy tractor for one unique construction project but don’t easily see your company using the used machinery again. That used heavy construction equipment cost your company hundreds of thousands or possibly millions of dollars and now it’s just eating up space on your lot that could be used for the heavy construction equipment you more frequently use.

Looking to buy used heavy equipment because you know that gently used construction equipment can work just as well as new machinery but also save your company thousands of dollars? Maybe you need a piece of construction equipment like a used dump truck or a used skid steer for a couple of projects only and you’d even consider renting the used heavy equipment if you could find a good deal.

There are plenty of used heavy construction equipment classifieds Web sites online that can be just the forum you’re looking for to sell or buy used heavy equipment. However, before you decide to buy used heavy equipment or sell your used machinery at the first site you find, take a look at the Web site’s guidelines to decide if you’re really selecting the best used heavy equipment classifieds Web site:

1.Does the used machinery classifieds Web site charge buyers or sellers for any transactions? Some used construction equipment classifieds Web sites will be more welcoming to people selling expensive equipment but then will turn around and charge the seller an extra 10% “administrative fee” for used machinery selling for under $5000. Others always charge as much as 19% of the selling fee, so it’s not even to your advantage to sell more expensive used construction equipment!

2.Does the used heavy equipment classifieds Web site charge the buyers a fee? Although sellers get more of the raw end of the deal since they stand to profit from use of the classifieds Web site, some sites even charge the buyers a fee to make purchases online through their site. A buyer’s fee of 2% doesn’t seem like much, but when the used machinery can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, 2% is like another $10,000, $15,000, or even $20,000 on to the price.

3.Does the used machinery classifieds Web site require buyers to place a deposit upfront? It can be difficult to get back your deposit if you change your mind or the picture looks better than the used heavy construction equipment in person. Look for a used construction equipment classifieds Web site that doesn’t require an upfront payment before you can see the used machinery up close and inspect it yourself.

4.Does the used heavy equipment classifieds Web site offer used machinery for rent? Sometimes, as a person who chooses to buy used heavy equipment, you make the decision to buy used rather than new because you only plan to use the machinery for one or two jobs. If you could spend $4000 to rend a used heavy truck for the one month you would need it, why spend $50,000 on purchasing even a one? Likewise, as a leaser, you could make more money long-term by charging other companies $4000 a month to rent your $50,000 used heavy truck—in less than a year, you’ll have paid it off, have made a profit, and still be able to use and/or rent it out!

5.Does the used construction equipment classifieds Web site offer Want Ads? In other words, if you as a buyer can’t find the used trucks, the used excavator, or the used skid steer for which you’re looking, does the used machinery classifieds site let you post a description of the used construction equipment you have in mind along with your price range and let the potential sellers come to you with their offers? As a seller, can you do a quick search for buyers who want the used construction equipment you might have and know you’ll get a pretty good offer without ever having to place an ad yourself?

6.Does the used heavy equipment classifieds Web site offer you a free company store link? Sellers who can put up a display of all of the used construction equipment they have for sale along with contact information and a quick link to a company Web site are more likely to sell multiple used machinery items to one customer than sellers who can only post used machinery for sale on an ad-by-ad basis.

Always look for a used heavy construction equipment classifieds Web site that offers completely free membership and charges absolutely no fees or deposits to either buyers or sellers. Some websites also has For Rent and Want Ad options for all members and a free company store link for all sellers.

When you’re looking to sell or buy used heavy equipment, you’re looking to save money. Many used machinery classifieds Web sites defeat that purpose by charging you fees and not giving you the best buying and selling options to help you sell or buy the used heavy equipment you need to get off of your lot or into your fleet. Be a smart used construction equipment buyer or seller and do your research before you spend more money than you really must!

Paper is paper. That’s was I thought when I first started working in marketing. But the first time I spoke to a printer to discuss the print requirements for a promotion, this common believe was quickly corrected.

There are many different types of paper and you need to understand the terminology of paper weight used in order to be able to select the right paper for your purpose.

So, let’s have a look at some of the most common terms:

Grammage:

The grammage of your paper defines the grams per square meter and is used where the metric system is applicable (mainly Europe). It is the term you will hear most often when choosing and selecting the right paper for your print needs.

So if you are offered a 150gsm paper, this type of paper weighs 150 grams per square meter. You might only need a small part of this paper, however, by standardising the measurement, the weight and therefore thickness of a paper is easier to compare. And it would be difficult to weigh a single A5 paper – It’s just not practical!

To make it easier for you to imagine how heavy paper with a certain grammage is, it is the easiest option to remember that typical office paper has a grammage of 80 gsm. This will give you a starting point to compare the expected weight for paper with a higher or lower grammage.

The grammage is also regulated and defined by “ISO 536:1995 (International Organization of Standardization).

Basis weight:

In the United Statesthe basis weight is often used instead of the grammage of paper. It refers to the density of paper (see below) for a paper ream defined as 500 sheets. The ream however refers to the uncut basis ream which is larger than the final ream you purchase.

Density:

Grammage can also be expressed as g/cm. However, in this case it is referred to as density. This term is in particular relevant when referring to the basis weight

Caliper:

The calliper refers to the thickness of paper instead of its actual weight. It is usually measured by one ply of paper and is expressed in microns or mm.

The variance of the calliper within your sheet should be no more than + or -5% to be a good quality product. This will ensure consistent printing results. The thicker your paper is, i.e. the greater the calliper, the heavier will your paper be.

These are just some of the most important terms to consider when discussing paper weights and it is a very complicated field. If you are unsure about how thick or heavy the paper suggested is, or how it feels, it is always the best option to request a sample.

The Advantages of Purchasing Used Construction Equipment Online

Nowadays, manufacturer’s dealers and business owners that activate in the construction field have the possibility of choosing between new and used heavy construction equipment. Furthermore, they can take full advantage of the online market, online auctions and other such fast and easy ways of buying the needed heavy equipment. When talking about new versus used construction equipment, there are numerous debates and speculations regarding the benefits and disadvantages of choosing each of these two types of construction equipment.

The Relevant Financial Benefit

For sure, the main advantage that the used heavy equipment presents is the fact that it comes at a more reasonable price. The online market presents wide ranges of discounted construction equipment that might seem, financially speaking, incomparable with the prices for new equipment. Still, in some cases, this might not work as an advantage, since used machineries can imply extra repairing costs. But in order to make sure that the machine comes at a justified and advantageous price, the buyers need to be informed regarding the obsolesce and deterioration factors.

Performance and Functionality, just like New Heavy Equipment

Another advantage that needs to be taken into consideration when thinking about choosing between new and used construction equipment is the fact that the used machines might be as optimized and as good as the brand new ones. In many cases, the online auctions present machines that were never used or machines that were used for brief periods of time and function perfectly. Even though some buyers might be a little suspicious when dealing with the fact that used construction machinery might be as optimized and as functional as the new equipments, there are great selections of used trucks or used cranes that come with the same features and the same capabilities as the new ones, yet with a smaller price.

Certification and Guarantees

The online marketplace that deals with construction machineries has grown significantly and the explanation is quite simple. Nowadays, the Associated Equipment Distributors (AED) and Trade Yard, Inc have decided to collaborate and to provide professional inspections for the used construction heavy equipment that is sold online. As a result, more and more business owners and dealers have become interested in purchasing used heavy equipment online, instead of opting for new equipment. Basically, these certifications for quality and performance certify the customers that even though the machineries are labeled as “used”, they are safe and functional.

The Online Advantage

Since the used heavy equipment that are sold online are guaranteed by such reputable organizations, purchasing such heavy equipment using the specialized online market and auctions is considered, by many buyers, to be by far more advantageous then opting for the conventional types of purchases. First of all, all the information is provided by the sellers and it can be viewed with the help of some clicks, in a matter of seconds. Buyers can browse through thousands of used construction machines and then make their final decision, a fact which saves them time, efforts and other expenses.

Considering the facts above, there is no wonder that more and more buyers are interested in purchasing used construction machineries instead of new and more expensive ones. For now, the heavy equipment market online is gaining more popularity and success.

Yellow and orange would be good colors. You want to use a yellow that is in the same intensity as the orange of the dresses. Burnt Orange sounds subdued. You are not going for a match with your dresses because that gives a very fake look. You want to coordinate the colors to go with the dresses.

There are many flowers that are yellow. Actually, since you are using silk flowers … you can dye flowers yellow and or orange with fabric dye. So if you can get white silk flowers … you can get your orange or yellow pretty easily.

Make sure to always wear gloves with using dyes. Follow package directions exactly for rinsing so the colors don’t rub off.

Use nice silk flowers. If they look nice to you up close … they should photograph well. Personally I think real flowers are less expensive than nice silks. But they are more difficult to use than silks and if you have allergies … can be a real problem.

Since the wedding is at 4 and the reception will be after 5 this means it will be more formal. Anything in the line of a cocktail type dress would be appropriate. If you are going to buy something, get something you will wear again, maybe to another holiday party. Black is always appropriate at this time of day. If you can’t find anything you like in a cocktail dress, look for something that you’d wear to church or out for a nice dinner. A skirt and dressy blouse or sweater would be appropriate as well.

Since its Nov. you can wear anything in the jewel tones, Royal Blue, Royal Purple, burgundy any of the deep rich colors, however stay away from red. You don’t want to draw attention away from the bride.

When you go dress shopping, tell the sales person what you need the dress for and they will be able to help you. Get something simple and you’ll use it again. Dress it up with a necklace and earrings. But above all, be comfortable.

If you are not sure in what season you are getting married here are some ideas that you could try. If it’s near fall, think browns, beiges and whites. If it’s more towards winter, think winter wonderland with varying shades of blue and white. Any shade of green would be appropriate — sage, celadon, etc.
You could also go with a light blue, and have a "snow and ice" theme — this is becoming very popular.

You could also choose champagne for your bridesmaids and have floral accents of red and green if you wanted to give a nod to the time of year. You can be as creative as you want with your theme. Colors are wonderfully tied in everywhere with invitations, flowers and favors.

A valentines wedding is always romantic! I would stick with your main colors, with gold or red colored favors to accent the flowers and hurricane lamps (which I do hope you will be lighting with candles!). The other rose color would be white or rich ivory, maybe with a touch of deep green foliage. Red and white are the color symbols of unity. The MOH’s red gown would look quite stunning with a bouquet of cream roses, maybe with an accent of red by sprinkling red crystals through the roses. Or a trailing red ribbon. Your flowers could be the opposite (red roses with clear diamante crystals)

Colors like baby blue, baby pink, lavender, lime green and lemon yellow. Actually all these colors would work together; however, I would add at least one more dramatic color, such as a deep pink or fuchsia. You need to create dramatic effect.

I don’t have any pictures of these colors; however, the best way to see them is to go to a hobby store that carries silk flowers. This way you can play with the colors to see how they will work together as well as possibly getting other ideas.

Start with the colors you’ve mentioned and try different "dramatic" colors such as deep purples, blues, yellows to see what you like the best then let your florist know. Also, your florist is a great resource as well for knowing colors, flowers etc.

There’s a wonderful magazine, which you can purchase at good book store. It’s WEDDING FLOWERS. It comes out once a year and has the flowers grouped in colors as well as wonderful additional ideas for combinations.

Australia’s total trade recorded US$245 B in 2006. Of this, total imports were US$127 B, while total exports were US$118 B. Australia is often regarded primarily as a producer of agricultural commodities, minerals and energy. Its top export was coal, coke & petroleum, which account for approximately 25% of total exports. Other key exports include metal ores, minerals & metals, machinery and gold. Conversely, Australia is a heavy importer of manufactured goods such as machinery, consumer goods, transport equipment, as well as fuel & lubricants.

The top export markets of Australia include Japan, China, Korea, USA, New Zealand and the ASEAN countries. Japan has been Australia’s largest export market since the mid-1960s. At its peak, Japan account for over 60% of Australia’s exports. However, in the aftermath of the Asian economic crisis of the late 1990s and the long period of sluggish growth in Japan, this share has fallen significantly over the years, accounting for approximately a fifth of Australia’s exports in 2006. In terms of imports, USA, China, Japan, Germany, Singapore and the UK are some of the top import market for Australia.

The China phenomenon

There is a very significant phenomenon in the trade between Australia and China. Over the past five years, China has grown significantly in importance to Australia as a trading partner, accounting for nearly 12% of Australia’s merchandise exports in 2006 (up from 5.5% as recently as 2000). Its growth has also been rapid, growing at a CAGR of 23% between 2000 to 2006. Key exports to China include metal ores & scrap, textile fibres, non-ferrous metals as well as coal and petroleum products.

Being the factory of the world, China has also increased rapidly as a source of merchandise imports for Australia, accounting for 14% of the total in 2005, almost double the 7.6% in 2000. Key imports from China includes machineries, clothing & accessories, footwear as well as telecom equipment.

Besides being a significant trading partner to Australia, China is also increasingly becoming an important investor in Australia. According to the Statistics of Bureau of Australia, Chinese investment in Australia exceeds US$4.8 B, contributing in no mean measure to Australian exports and jobs. Similarly, Australia has also become a major destination for China’s outward investment.

By far, the resource and mining sector has received the lion’s share of the investment from China. Major projects in this sector include Mount Channar iron-ore (US$96 M) and Portland Aluminum Smelter (US$80 M). The single largest Chinese investment in Australia, amounting to US$240 M, is in the mining sector. Currently, Chinese companies are studying in more than 15 minerals and energy projects in Australia worth more than US$80 B. About half of the projects are in iron ore, the rest in coal, natural gas and non-ferrous metals.

Agriculture is another area of concentration of the Chinese investment. Over the years, Chinese companies have made substantial investment in dairy, cattle and cotton farming in Australia. However, it is the service sector that has attracted the largest number of companies from China. Quite a number of Chinese companies are engaged in import and export business, and air and ocean transportation as well as financial services, playing an important role in increasing the flow of goods and services between China and Australia.

With China’s fast-growing economy, which is expected to average about 8% in the next 5 years, the country’s huge market potential is being increasingly materialized. In addition, Australia is currently engaged in talks with China, with a view to negotiating bilateral free trade agreements. If materialized, it would bring bilateral economic and trade relations between China and Australia to greater heights.

To those who may not be aware of the significance of wedding favours, they are those little, keepsakes or mementos, given as a gesture of thanks to all wedding guests by the newlyweds. Although, not really necessary, wedding favours have now become very popular and a must have item for any theme-orientated, wedding today. Wedding favours have been around for centuries and have been part of weddings of many different cultures. In order for guests to remember the occasion each wedding favour is usually inscribed with names of the newlyweds and wedding date. The very first wedding favours that were distributed to guests were in the form of small crystal, gold or porcelain fancy boxes. These contained chocolates, bonbons or other confectionery items. Such gift boxes were then known as ‘bonbonieres’ and were generally given only to the elite among the guests.

Over the years, the popularity of wedding favours has grown significantly among couples who are today much more creative and discerning in their choice of wedding favours. Today, the variety of wedding favours is so large that even small budget weddings can find wedding favours to suit the style and theme of such weddings. Some of the most sought after, items include picture frames, sachets, chocolate covered almonds, wine stoppers, coasters, personalised mint tins, themed favours, personalized souvenirs and more. There is also a significant demand for the creation of wedding favours to match themed weddings. A few of the most common and popular ones include destination themes, poker themes, beach themes, Asian themes, spring themes, garden themes, winter themes, and a lot more.

The reason why the range and possibilities of wedding favours are limitless is because despite the creative concepts specified by the bride, groom or wedding planner, there are countless more creative ideas that can be developed for unique wedding favours. The truth is that when confronted with such an exhaustive range of wedding favours, many couples have a difficult, if not confusing, time selecting ideal favours for their Big Day. However, the important thing that must be kept in mind is that the wedding favours that you gift to your guests must be a reflection of the style and personality of you and your partner. The type of wedding favours you give is not really important, as long as it can evoke memories among guests about the wedding couple, the day they were married and the fun-filled, experiences that guests enjoyed on that day.

The importance given to wedding favours is so great that it has virtually become an industry today. As such, there are thousands of people engaged in the creation of wedding favours, as well as numerous retail outlets, marketing such items and other wedding paraphernalia, around the globe. Apart from being creative in form and nature, wedding favours are today being given utility value. For example, candles with holders, coasters, wine glasses, etc. In this manner, the wedded couple will be remembered each time such wedding favours are made use of. Just like a diamond, weddings are also forever. Wedding favours play a great role ensuring they stay that way, i.e., in the minds of honoured guests for a long, long time.
